SLES is about giving you the skills and confidence to help you move from school to employment with the right support that you choose.
School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) is a great supportive pathway to work for Year 12 school leavers with a disability. It’s a stepping stone and the supports you will receive may include work experience in an open employment setting, travel training, work skills training and any other activity that will contribute to you achieving an employment outcome.
SLES offers you individualised support for up to 2 years after finishing year 12 to help you get ready for work and to plan your pathway to employment.
The Devonfield SLES team have a great track record in building capacity of their participants to date and are enjoying the many employment outcomes of their participants together with their families.
